Vansidian – Reflecting The Shadows

Finnish Hybrid metal band Vansidian is set to release their anticipated debut album Reflecting The Shadows on May 19th 2023. 
“Reflecting the Shadows” stands out from the sounds of modern metal albums, showcasing an unique brand of heavy metal. The album fusions together old school sound of 80’s heavy metal with the crushing brutality of the early pioneers of melodic death metal.
 By combining an impressive variety of influences, it delivers a sound that covers the whole spectrum of metal subgenres. While going further into own territory, songs are spiced with retro-game inspired melodic hooks. 
 Lyrical themes revolve around dualism, self-acceptance, narsism and being trapped by own lies. Common factor is the protagonist himself, his mirror image or shadow. Reflections from house of mirrors inside his mind, where faces and forms exist, possibly whispering things that are not true. A traditional battle between one’s own demons, good and evil, light and darkness, continuously growing to epic proportions

Vansidian is a new hybrid metal sensation, founded in Tampere, Finland year 2017. One could describe their music as a combination of melodic death metal & classical 80’s heavy metal. When you add retro video game inspired melodies to this deformity. You’ll have a totally unique and otherworldly piece of music in your hands.

Bands debut album ‘Reflecting the Shadows’ will be released through Inverse Records in May 19th 2023. The band will tour around Finland before summer, when they hit the stages of the biggest metal festival in nordic countries: TUSKA. Accompanied by bands like: Gojira, Ghost, Arch Enemy, In Flames just to mention few.
