‘You Are Not Alone’ (Power/Pop/Heavy Metal)

With their strong heavy riffs set against the clarity of female vocals, the mysterious and enigmatic upcoming band Master Dy is a force to be reckoned with, when it comes to the iconic and characteristic genre of Power Metal.
A strong and iconic team of musicians, the emerging band Master Dy has a strong theatrical component, approaches themes around metal and the occult in a comical way with heavy riffs, but a sweet and clean female voice. All set to captivate the world made their debut album release on February 26, 2021 With 11 splendid tracks, Master Dy managed to break into the genre and surprise listeners and critics with its release. Master Dy intends to produce and create music that inspires and excites spirits through the use of iconic Power/Heavy metal music.

Master Dy initially wanted to approach music through the theme used in black metal, because it’s ocultist and a bit revolted against the things that go wrong in a young man’s life, but then Dy Moob felt he didn’t want to do black metal and decided to do something more fun, it could be heard by the whole family and it wasn’t that heavy.
Master Dy has been mainly getting inspiration from Ghost BC , a Swedish band awarded for their incredible hard rock performances in recent years, which has pulled crowds back to rock and heavy metal. Master Dy then sought inspiration in another theatrical band called Powerwolf who abuse synthesizers and riffs, and the iconic Alice Cooper who has always been a legend when it comes to bringing theatrics and Rock n Roll together.
Now the next step is the single ‘ You Are Not Alone ‘ which was finished in the studio by Matt Dougherty ( Megadeth / Kobra and the Lothus ) and will be released by Label DyMM P&M on September 17th to give fans a taste, besides the band is already in the studio working on the next album that should be released at the beginning of the next year, what message will the band bring us this time?

‘Sudden Deaf’ (Hardcore)

The previous album «Post-Modern Dark Age» came in the autumn of 2019 and the band’s concert activities to promote the album in 2020 were interrupted and a performance during Trondheim Calling in 2020 was the band’s last concert before everything closed down. In 2021, there were signs of life again from Freedumb and an alternative EP version of the debut album The Freedumb Curse (2010) was released in a limited edition on 12 »vinyl with a silkscreen cover. In September 2021, “Get Away” came as the first single from the upcoming album “Social Hangover” and the song received an overwhelming reception internationally in the alternative rock / punk / metal press.
Freedumb was started by Torstein Magnus Eriksen (Norsk Råkk, Friksjon), Ole Vanem (Knuste Ruter) and Thomas Walland Hansen (The Supervisors) in the winter of 2003 in Moss . In 2010, “The Freedumb Curse” came out on Tonehjulet Kräftpest, and Freedumb was selected for PYRO on NRK’s rating “Top 10 most promising bands in 2010”. The following year, guitarist Thomas Walland Hansen quit and Kim Trøbråten (Fork) joined. In 2016, the follow-up album “Feeding The Tapeworm” was released on Tonehjulet Kräftpest and Freedumb went on heir most comprehensive Norwegian tour. At the end of the tour, Ole Vanem throws in the drumsticks and in the winter of 2017, Petter Cindahl (Bits Between / Your Epitaph) became the new drummer in Freedumb.
The band started recording a new album with producer Hans Tømmerholen (Bits Between) in the summer of 2017 . In August 2017, Big Day Records released the single “Let it slide” which received rave reviews and sneak onto several official Spotify playlists. In October 2017, the shocking news came that Cindahl had passed away and the band was put on hold. In the spring of 2018, Arne-Magnus Fjelle (Blodstrupmoen) was announced as the new drummer.

‘In Trance​-​Lah’ (Extreme Metal)

CHUGGA RITUAL, the one-man extreme music project of Bo Skullbanger, returns with In Trance-lah, an album to celebrate 30 years of his journey in writing, recording and playing distortion guitar music since 1991 with Fractured Skull, Manifest and Urbankarma. In Trance-lah, which was released online on bandcamp.com last December 18th, 2021, is a 10-song album that features 5 songs from Chugga Ritual and from Cryo Inferno, Necrolestes, Sungei Seleter Blues Experience, Munky Pants and Orkes Biar Batik. Munky Pants is the band of Skullbanger’s three sons. The Chugga Ritual segment of the album sees a greater experimentation with Skullbanger fusing swing jazz beats, surf rock guitar stylings, D n B drum sounds and black metal riffs to the signature Chugga Ritual low tuning heavy distortion chuggery. In Trance-lah is now available on all streaming platforms.
Chugga Ritual is an extreme music project from Singapore since 2008. The project is inspired by 2005 Roadrunner United All Stars project of various captains working with different musicians for different songs. Over the years, Bo Skullbanger has collaborated with known Singapore musicians such as Addy Rasidi, Kathiresan of Rudra and Khalid Mobin Of Rusty Blade. Skullbanger also has collaborated with Marc Rizzo, former lead guitar player of Soulfly and Cavalera Conspiracy .

‘Le666ion Of Nusantara’ (Black Metal)

As Sahar started out as a thrash metal band during the golden era of 80’s. to be exact, 3 souls – Barchiel, Hanael & Uriel initiated the move for the band in December 1987 as they were moved by the intense & aggressive music. Early jam sessions were mostly covers of Venom, Metallica etc. End of 1993 recorded 1st ever promo & demo tape “Promo 93” & the “Primitively Eastern Winds” demo. Both releases were spread thru snail mail to fanzine & bands, receiving overwhelming & positive response motivated As Sahar to go further. 1995 “Santau” demo was recorded, creating our own identity – Eastern Black Metal, melodically & atmospheric combined with eastern mysticism & magical cult practices. This release caught the interest of Malaysian label Nebiula Production & release it on an EP tape format “Meditation Embun Pagi”. 
Warkvlt is a Black metal band, from Bandung Indonesia. The band was started on June, 2013 The name Warkvlt is taken from the Latin words “warocculti” which means secret war. Originally Warkvlt consisted of Abaddon: Vox, Bathory: Bass, Desecrator: Guitar, D’von: guitar and Blastphemy: drums and due to internal matters since 2017, Warkvlt changed the members to work on newmaterials. The concept of Warkvlt’s music is heavily influenced by Marduk, Mayhem, DarkFuneral, Infernal War, Nordjevel and Impiety. Lyrical concept inspired by the dark side of life, darkness and evil in warfare.

The Unite The States Project is a newly formed concept formed by rock musicians from New Jersey: frontman Wayne Olivieri (The NEW Bardots), Gar Francis (The NEW Bardots, Billy Idol, The Doughboys), Dan Skye (The NEW Bardots), and Johnny Rago (The NEW Bardots) with guest harmonica on the Track “Just Another Dance In The City” Myke Scavone (The Yardbirds, The Doughboys, Ram Jam) and guest sax man Joe Grillo on the track “Americas Burning”. These musicians have decided to write and release a 5 songs EP to protest what is happening in the United States and all over the globe and to use an alias on this EP as to not offend any NEW Bardot fans with their straightforward content, which differs from the previous lighthearted works. Even though the band is split between leaning left and right in the political arena, they all agreed that the current state of things is corrupt and needed to be addressed. An upcoming EP of 5 songs is due out as a form of artistic protest to what the group perceives to be a serious threat to democracy and its values. The so-called “woke” mentality and Governments links to the so-called Big Business/Big Tech/Big Pharma lobbies to the disadvantage of common people. The Unite The States Project’s first single/video “Battle Stations” depicts a bit of it all in a pop-rock kind of vibe. The overall goal of The Unite The States Project is “to show – no matter where you stand politically that we can still come together for a united cause and that it’s time for the people to take notice of what is happening in our countries before we end up in a Marxist world, which has been tried before and didn’t turn out too well” – Unite The States Project

‘High and Hellbound’ (Prog Power Metal)

Fierce Atmospheres, one of Chicago’s premiere examples of Progressive Power Metal, are back with their second full-length album, “The Speed of Dreams”. Mixed and mastered by Andy La Rocque at Sonic Train Studios in Sweden, The Speed of Dreams is a collection of songs formed around intricate guitars, relentless rhythm structures, and powerful melodies that create a dynamic and dramatic mix, reflective of the band’s American Heavy Metal and European Power Metal influences. The teamwork between La Rocque and Fierce Atmospheres in this album signifies an upward evolution in the band’s sound, making it more direct and heavy, while maintaining their unique progressive touch.

Fierce Atmospheres released the third video single out of their album “The Speed of Dreams” on Qumran Records on February 6th. The title of the track is “High and Hellbound”. This song, like the rest of the album, was mixed and mastered at Andy La Rocque’s Sonic Train Studios and the video was directed again by Taran de Pablos and edited by Sean Coogan.
When discussing the lyrics of the song, this is what the band had to say:”The lyrics are inspired by the documentary The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia produced by Johnny Knoxville and include many references to what you can see in the movie, from the “hellbound” quote in the title to the board clicking by the tracks, as well as the actual “Boon County mating call” that you can hear in the intro. We even borrowed the line “take me home country roads” from John Denver, as the documentary takes place in West Virginia.”

Tic tac, Tic Tac el monótono sonido del reloj era lo único que le recordaba que aún estaba viva. Luchó, bien lucharon hasta el final. Ella con su fuerza, con su aliento, con su “sobrevivirás”. Y Él teniendo fe mientras el dolor le retorcía el Alma, mientras su reflejo era anónimo pues hacía tiempo que no se reconocía, mientras intentaba exprimir con su casi aliento cada segundo de Vida. Pero perdieron: él la Vida y Ella las ganas de Vivir.

Ya no recuerda cuántos TicS Tacs pasaron antes de encontrarse así. Tenía un vago recuerdo de una bonita despedida, de un suceso mágico que le daba la certeza que él siempre la protegería, de muchos “para lo que necesites aquí estamos”, de algunos “has de mirar hacia delante” de tres malditos “eres joven, reharás tu vida” MIERDA ¿reharás? Recordó momentos de odio, rabia, venganza y de llanto, tristeza profunda y muerte. MUERTE que ahora ya no podía ser compartida. Cada noche rogaba al cielo y se preguntaba la causa, el fatal destino, el …y buscaba sus ojos, su “tranquila, todo pasará”, pero solamente encontraba oscuridad y silencio. Mucha gente presa del desasosiego de verla así, casi le obligaron a medicarse y accedió. ¿Qué podía perder? ¿El tiempo? Tal vez era la solución a tal vil patraña. Si el tiempo lo curaba todo y ella lo dejaba perder…ILUSA, en un arrebato de Rabia, Mierda, Llanto aplastó las pastillas y las tiró por el retrete. Y a veces, un ápice de lucidez le recuerda que ahí empezaron sus TICs Tacs.

Pero entonces sobrevino un fatal desenlace, o un capítulo más de su desafortunada vida. Pues el destino, su mala fortuna ZARANDEÓ su “Vida”. Después de intentar, en vano, distraerse con alguna serie recomendada por las pocas personas que aún la animaban, se acostó como cada noche. Ese instante de oscuridad absoluta, como cada noche, le esperanzaba el poder dormir y olvidar su ausente vida. Pero cuando la esperanza, como cada noche, se desvanecía, el llanto le inundaba hasta quedar dormida. Y entonces sucedió. Las lágrimas se agotaron y no dieron paso al olvido, un ruido silencioso le alertó. Su corazón asustado notó algo que la oscuridad no le permitía ver y que se acercaba violentamente. De pronto, la agarró con fuerza del pecho y la tiró al suelo. Vil enemigo en su pesar que tal vez le arrebataría lo que tanto odiaba: su vida. ¿Habría oído sus plegarias? ¿Era un verdugo o un salvador? Poco importaba, el golpe contra el suelo fue brutal y noto como en su cabeza una presión le impedía pensar, sentir, sólo un hormigueo le recorría su cuero cabelludo y le atravesaba los pensamientos.  El agresor no se conformó con ello y la arrastró hacia un rincón de la habitación, amordazándola secuestrándole el habla, el grito. Allá le ató de pies y manos con el fin de dejarla rígida, sin la posibilidad de ningún movimiento. Y estirada atravesó cruelmente la boca del estómago con un puñal. Un momento antes pensó que tal vez era un sueño, pero el dolor, el inmenso dolor le recordó que estaba despierta y Viva. ¿Viva? Si, no había sangre en la herida, ni moratones en su piel, ni presión en su boca…. Así que vomitó de su alma un grito sordo, pero estridente que empujó por primera vez a él. Después, pasaron varios días, de gritos, de llantos, de días en cautividad. Pero el agresor fue apartándose, cediendo el paso a ella: una superviviente del ataque de su verdugo. Un verdugo que le hizo explotar, para reconstruirse. Un verdugo que le bajó a sus infiernos para subir a SU VIDA. Un verdugo que se llamaba EL VACÍO. El peor e invisible enemigo de la pérdida. Recuerden desde la NADA podemos ir construyendo EL TODO.

Destillat is a melodic Death/Black Metal band from Leipzig, Germany.As a band we have been active since 2014 and have released two EP’s so far, “Empire” (2018) and “Throat Of Winter” (2019). Over the last 1,5 years we’ve been working on our first full length album called “Under Black Horizons”, which came out Dec. 10th, 2021.
