“Lines of Nasca”

Flor de Loto

Flor de Loto, a driving force in Peru’s Andean Prog-Folk Metal scene, release today their new album, “Lines of Nasca”. Available now on all digital platforms, this album isn’t just a new release, it’s a milestone marking the band’s significant 25-year musical journey.

“Lines of Nasca” is an homage to Flor de Loto’s musical evolution, featuring a stirring mix of remakes, re-recordings, and remixes. Adding to its allure are collaborations with established names in the industry, including Fabio Lione (Rhapsody, Angra) and Doogie White (Rainbow). Breaking new ground, Flor de Loto, for the first time, introduces an album sung entirely in English, allowing their musical storytelling to resonate with a broader audience.

The production

The album’s production has been expertly handled by Roy Z (Bruce Dickinson, Halford) at his US-based studios, and it received its mastering touch from Maor Appelbaum (Yes, Faith no More, Sepultura).

On the same day of the album’s release, Flor de Loto shares a glimpse into their sonic world through the music video for their evocative single, “Slave to your soul,” featuring guest singer Doogie White.

As producer Roy Z aptly states: “Flor de Loto is what would have happened if Iron Maiden met Jethro Tull in the ruins of Machu Picchu.”
